MET Sketches

In 2005, in application to the Rome Prize (website) I studied form as it is created in Classical Sculpture.

These sketches were later instrumental in launching my doctoral research. Through sketching these figures is developed the understanding of the literal balance of form in space, therefore form here is bonded to space.
